Firstly this week can I apologise for the two videos of Seth and Albert not working last week. This was nothing to do with me but I have put them here again for you and this time they will work. They are in super slow-mo so you will be able to watch in great detail. Seth in the green cap really is very good. Watch and learn.
I guess I should mention Hull City's return to the Premiership. I know it was a quiet day here at the club on Saturday so I guess quite a few of you went to Wembley. Rees Brown can be seen in this picture celebrating with his son Josh after the game.
It was nice though to see quite a few people come up to the club and watch the game here in the bar.
Maybe next season we need someone to organise it better when Hull City and playing on TV.
Unfortunately even after more hard work especially by Ron Newey our attempt at getting a grant from Sport England to help us with improving our practice facility and putting a driving range in at Hornsea has been turned down for the second time. I am not giving up though as I really want to see the practice facilities improve at Hornsea. We do have a great plan we just need to find a way to fund it. If any of you have any ideas please let me know your thoughts.
Just reminders for all those in club knockouts as lots of games are still to be played. The next round needs to be played by 5th June which is this Sunday. When I looked on Tuesday 14 games were still to be completed.

MORE RESULTS
It was a fantastic result for the gents Sunday Mail team who played away at Forest Pines last Saturday and managed to win 4 - 1. Wins for Sam Middleton, Leigh Gawley, Andy Fox, and Phil Cross means Hornsea now progress into the 6th round. Nathan Wright was the only one to lose but he did put up a valiant effort after been 3 down with 4 to play and managing to take his game to the last hole. No bottle though as he made a double bogey on the last to lose. He still hasn't got over it!
On Tuesday 31st May Caroline Barker, Lady Captain, represented the club in the Northern Medal Final at Lancaster Golf Club.
Although not a winner Caroline finished halfway up the field of 120. Well done and congratulations for reaching the finals.

7th & 10th TEE
I know some of you will have seen the temporary signs that have been put in place on the 7th and 10th tees. More permanent ones will be with us shortly. Can all golfers please read them and do as they say. If you are approaching the 7th tee please be aware of golfers teeing off from the 10th. When you are on the 10th tee you must wait until the 7th tee is clear before teeing off. We are looking at putting some more substantial trees in but this is not the time of year to do this.
