Gold Medal Results
Last Saturday so Round 3 of the Centenary Gold Medal be played and we are now starting to see some order form on the leaderboards.
Starting with the Gross section and in Division 1 owing to a fantastic 69 in tricky conditions Matty Raybould now holds a comfortable 20 point lead from Ash Dexter. Division 2 is much more hotly contested with Paul Lockwood and Rich Pooley tied for the lead with Simon Wedge and Steve Cross both 8 points behind. Finally Division 3 follows a similar pattern to Division 1 with Stu McKee holding a strong lead of 10 points from Jake Cockerill.
In the Nett side of things Division 1 is much more congested near the top with 6 players with in 7 points of Matty Raybould who again leads but this time by just 1 point from Pete Buckell. Division 2 sees Simon Wedge vault to the top following his win on Saturday with Steve Newton within 1 and a few 1 good score away from catching. Unlike Divisions 1 and 2, Division 3 sees a clear leader with Jake Cockerill performing well in the last 2 monthly medals to take a 12 point lead.
The August Medal is to be played on Saturday 2nd August so we will see what that day brings and hope to see some movements in the leaderboard I'm sure.
